"The Ups & Downs"

Like many second-story sets of stairs in our area, these had seen better days. For these part-time residents, they needed stairs that were easier to navigate while shuttling the trappings of part-time living in and out. We removed the existing stairs, built a mid-point and upper landing, and turned the stairs to direct them toward the parking area. We also formed and poured concrete landings at the bottom of both sets of stairs to replace the pallets they formerly resided on. Stair skirts were installed for structural integrity, and everything trimmed out to match the existing structure.
